at last!
histrionics: Jesus' blood - united live.
block test week is finally over!
finally i can take a break. :)
lit. was..ok.
i think marianne dashwood is real silly. or rather, austen makes her seem so silly. imagine getting so upset until she can't even stand properly. she must be one woman with the least social etiquette in those days. sensibility indeed.
i spent too much time on
sense & sensibility, only had about 45 minutes left for
zenzele. i don't know if anyone agrees with me, but i thought maraire (the writer) is an insecure and emotional wreck. i mean, she starts off praising the blacks and everything, and suddenly she starts whining about how they're mistreated. and i said she was intimidated by the bag lady, but could relate to and pity her because she too is being ostracized. that makes sense aye?
racial discrimination and poverty.
hmm. anyway, zenzele must be tired of reading her mum's letters man. one letter is already so long & draggy!
on the topic of
zenzele, i exclaimed "ms. chew is in love with africa!" when i saw the passage. i mean, she gave us a test on samuel chimsoro's text too. people laughed, and i think she heard me. hope it won't affect me grades..haha.
oh, and she & mrs. teo were
smiling at me when i glanced up during the test.
i don't know what that means.
today is the second time this week i got caught in the rain.
hmm..looks like the north-east monsoon will be hanging around for a while.
hope it doesn't rain tomorrow.
dandan will be out tomorrow!
think we'll meet up or something, haven't seen him for ages. happy! :)
