emotional renewal.
today was a great day!
had lots of fun; there couldn't be a better way to spend a break from college.
went to ed's place in the morning, was treated to lunch.
chilli kangkong, fried chicken and potato. one word to sum it all up:
incredible. the company was great too, kenneth, sab, michelle and daena all came! the jokes were real...........er.......lame. haha, but it was fun!
then played
risk. for once in the history of me playing that game, i actually got a whole continent to myself. hmm. it was hilarious with danial around, 'cos he was whispering to me strategies for winning and telling me how the others wanted to attack the armies him and i had. haha! he is soooooooooooo pinch-able! round all over, very cute! but sometimes his comments can be a tad nasty. hmm.
tigger and lily re-define the word
fatcat! they're so well-kept and well-fed that puss-in-boots would be put to shame. er..i think. anyway, miss lily was purring away like nobody's business whilst she was stuck in the bathroom. shows nothing very good happens to cats with good toilet manners..haha!
went to watch
The Passion with ed..got worried that we wouldn't be able to get in 'cos he's not 18 yet. and so, we attempted to look older than our age by way of our dressing; him a retro shirt & geek specs., and i dark colours. but! it didn't work. at the ticket booth, the guy warned us that the show's m18. we just went ahead and bought the tickets anyhow, and promptly got stopped at the entrance of the theatres by the attendant! she asked us for our identification passes, and the both of us witnessed the
extreme quizzicality of expression she had on her face when she saw my pass. and same for ed's. do we really look that young?? the way she looked, it wouldn't be difficult for one to think she saw a life-sized spongebob waving at her. and that's
mad!
having watched the show for the second time, i was still greatly touched. and ed was too. shall keep it at that..
decided to collect me sneakers @
nike, and the salesgirl told me the stock hadn't arrived yet?! honestly, that was total incompetency, because one of the salespeople told me
two weeks earlier that stock would be arriving back then. oh wel..wasted trip. hope the stock gets here from timbuctoo soon. hiaks.
ramen ten for dinner. i liked the teriyaki chicken ramen, though it wasn't a generous portion. speaking of food, my tummy's growling now. hmm. sugar-coated biscuits on the way!
strolled around orchard for a lil' while before heading home..it was astonishingly crowded mid-week.
all in all, i had a wonderful time. :)
back to college tomorrow, plus drama rehearsal.
hope i won't be worn-out.
