welcome.
I know that you believe that you understood
what you think I said, but I am not sure
you realise that what you heard
is not what i meant.

idiosyncrasies.

been feeling ill the past few days.
was hit by a bout of flu on friday, got acute pain in the abdomen yesterday, and once more today.

hmm.
could it be due to a lack of sleep?

anyway, i'll try my best not to absent myself on days with math tutorials, what with mr. kooi throwing snide remarks at my absence like nobody's business. really, sometimes people do have to learn to have a bit of tact, despite their age.

was late for college today, reached around the time the national anthem started (probably 0729 hours?). mr. haniss was real polite and asked me to report at the gallery. but, horror of horrors, dolores umbridge was in-charge, and boy was he mean. after making us sing the anthem and say the pledge like a bunch of inept buffoons, he threatened to make us do it all over again. goodness.

and i really wonder what's going on in his head. he told us to go to the library before 1200 hours, and when i got there, the queer librarian was acting like i accused her of a major crime when i asked for my ez-link pass. and so i went to the office, and the staff said they weren't handed the passes. i asked mr. haniss where the passes went, and he said they were with the office staff. went to the office after school, and this guy told me to come back for it at 1630 hours. hello?! wait four and a half hours for it?

called mr. haniss, and he rushed down and told the guy he was wrong, like totally. and then he told me to go to the guy to retrieve it. when i asked the guy again, he went, "after lunch." hey! did you like, not understand what mr. haniss said? anyway, i repeated that he should be giving me back my pass, and he handed me a whole stack of passes almost 12 centimetres tall.  had a tough time searching for mine, and the guy went, "you mean you cannot recognise your own face ah?" couldn't he see that there were like, ten thousand passes. and i told him that it wasn't easy to find a single pass amidst all the others. and again he went, "you mean you cannot recognise your own face ah?"

there's either something wrong with the college offices or the staff themselves.

so weird!

In This Life

For all I've been blessed with in this life
There was an emptiness in me
I was imprisoned by the power of gold
With one honest touch, you set me free

Let the world stop turning
Let the sun stop burning
Let them tell me love's not worth going through
If it all falls apart, I will know deep in my heart
The only dream that mattered had come true
In this life, I was loved by you

For every mountain I have climbed
Every raging river crossed
You were the treasure that I longed to find
Without your love I would be lost

Let the world stop turning
Let the sun stop burning
Let them tell me love's not worth going through
If it all falls apart, I will know deep in my heart
The only dream that mattered had come true
In this life, I was loved by you

In this life, I was loved by you.
