the new birth.
after nine months of intense grappling and incredible heartache from an ailing (if it is even possible), i sent the pc for repairs. you thought i was referring to li-lin's new kid, didn't you! turns out the heatsink fan in the cpu was broken, and hp gave me a new one FOC. finally, i can surf and use my computer in peace, without the fear and trepidation of it suddenly dying on me, along with all the work and documents.
and the iPod should be here this weekend.
the combination makes me an extremely happy man.
i've finally achieved my personal technological nirvana!
what a drastic way to put it.
went for the
American Idols Live! concert on tuesday. to put it simply: it was
phenomenal. the Idols are even better than they were on tv, and all of them have grown to be superstars in their own right. of course, Fantasia was the spark that night, and with her amazing vocal talent and prowess set the stage ablaze with Idol fervour.
i'm very sorry it's over.
but i shall always remain an ardent fan of the Idols, and most definitely Fantasia Barrino, for her faith and zest for life. and that's why she won.
as they sang the last song,
His Eye is On the Sparrow, the love and hope God has brought to them throughout their journey could be felt in their entirety.
His Eye is On the Sparrow
Why should I feel discouraged,
Why should the shadows come,
Why should my heart be lonely,
And long for heav'n and home,
When Jesus is my portion,
My constant Friend is He;
His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me.
I sing because I'm happy,
I sing because I'm free;
For His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me.
"Let not your heart be troubled,"
His tender word I hear,
And resting on His goodness,
I lose my doubts and fears,
Tho' by the path He leadeth,
But one step I may see;
|: His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me.
Whenever I am tempted,
Whenever clouds arise,
When song gives place to sighing,
When hope within me dies,
I draw the closer to Him;
From care He sets me free;
His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me.
