synthesis.

it was wonderful meeting up with old friends from the drama club last night. what was meant to be a sneak preview of the current members' masterpiece turned out to be a most welcome time spent with my very close friends.

looking upon those worn-out yet eager faces of the year ones and twos, I guess it was so just over a year ago, when we were all rehearsing for months for our pet project, The Odyssey. being the lead and having a go at performing were priviledges, but what really mattered, and still does to me, is the friendships I forged with friends I can call my own. those few hours spent with my old buddies reminded me of the victory we scored in one accord: the triumph of loving consonance over all odds.

I'll be looking forward to Drama Night 2005. =]
